Female Healthspan
Female healthspan is the part of a woman's life lived in good health and full function — not merely the years lived.
Female Reserve explores female healthspan as one interconnected system: how ovarian and endocrine aging interact with brain, bone, muscle, metabolism, cardiovascular health, skin, sleep, energy and sexual health across a woman's life.
Healthspan, not just lifespan
Lifespan is how long you live; healthspan is how long you live well. For women, the gap between the two is shaped heavily by hormonal and endocrine change that begins years before any symptoms become obvious.
Why female healthspan is different
Women spend roughly a third of life in post-reproductive years. Ovarian and endocrine aging affects many systems at once, yet medicine has traditionally studied them in isolation. Female Reserve looks at the connections.
The systems involved
- Brain and cognition
- Bone
- Muscle and strength
- Metabolism
- Cardiovascular health
- Skin
- Sleep
- Energy
- Mood
- Sexual health
How Female Reserve approaches it
Research, longitudinal thinking and technology development — to turn understanding into guidance. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a treatment.
Every claim carries its evidence state
Established, probable, emerging or unknown. We say plainly what the science supports and what it does not — the discipline the category often avoids.
